In the heart of Prague, the prestigious Hotel Julius, created by Matteo Thun Milano studio, offers a harmonious synthesis of luxury, comfort, and art. Located in an Art Deco style building, the Julius features suite-apartments with kitchenettes and smaller rooms, all designed to offer a home away from home atmosphere. In its design, Thun was inspired by Czech artists Alphonse Mucha and František Kupka, using Mucha's soft pastel tones for the rooms and a more vibrant color palette inspired by Kupka's abstract pieces for the common areas. This duality of colors creates a balance between personal relaxing spaces and dynamic public areas.
In this context of refinement and innovation, more than 11,000 m2 of the I Classici collection, in the Calacatta color, were chosen for their timeless elegance and great resilience, providing a solid base that perfectly integrates with natural materials, such as oak parquet, creating a welcoming and sophisticated environment.
