Located on the edge of the Gravina of Castellaneta (Taranto, Italy) in an area bordering the town, what was originally a stable has been completely transformed into a sophisticated rural loft. The extensive restoration and renovation with change of use has given life to a work of high modernity, in complete harmony with nature and the surrounding environment. Architect Rosanna Bussolotto utilized the surfaces of the La Roche collection to evoke a stratification of the stone that echoes that of the Gravina. The large 120x240 porcelain stoneware slabs, laid on the floor in the Grey variant, enhance the materiality of the surfaces in a place where ancient and modern coexist, telling the story of timeless charm. Covering the walls of the bathrooms, the artistic decorations of the Archeologie collection signed by Franco Guerzoni for CEDIT continue the story of a still present past, creating real pictorial environments.
