CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia is once again the protagonist of the NYCxDESIGN Awards, the recognition presented by Interior Design magazine and by ICFF that gathers and rewards the best design achievements every year. Araldica- designed by the creative Federico Pepe – received the honoree during the awards ceremony took place on May 20 in New York in the setting of Pier 17, during the design week.
The collection, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2019, was selected by an international jury and included among the finalists in the “Tile + Stone Wallcovering” category.
The collection is inspired by the traditional marbled papers used mainly in book-binding, reinterpreted by the Author to create original visual textures which, applied to large ceramic wall covering slabs by CEDIT, become a hypnotic, fascinating, variegated mix of colour.
The selection saw nearly 900 entries in the entire program for both Products and Projects in 77 categories, evaluated by an international jury composed of industry experts. The prestigious award had already awarded the Rilievi collection by Zaven in 2018 (as overall winner) and in 2016 the CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia brand.
