The “Rilievi” collection by CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia has won the Red Dot Award 2019, a prestigious and historic global recognition annually awarded to the most original and interesting products in terms of design and innovation.
A jury of internationally renowned experts selected the collection between more than 5,500 products from 55 countries. Appreciated for its high design quality, the collection designed by Zaven | Enrica Cavarzan & Marco Zavagno (awarded in the “product design” category) breaks the traditional rules of ceramic: three-dimensional elements with different geometrical patterns and colours decorate the large CEDIT slabs, transforming the walls and spaces into truly scenic compositions.
The prestigious Red Dot Award (which was won by CEDIT’s “Storie” series in 2017) joins the numerous awards that the collection has received since last April. “Rilievi” has won the Archiproducts Design Award (2018), the NYCxDESIGN Award (2018), the Good Design Award (2019) and the iF DESIGN AWARD (2019). It has also been nominated for the EDIDA – Elle Deco International Design Awards (2019).
