Design Night | Wednesday April 10th

Located in the Milan design district, the Florim Flagship Store and the Spazio CEDIT open their doors to the public for a unique evening event. The protagonists of the event are the two new CEDIT collections designed by Cristina Celestino and Federico Pepe, presented in the setting of our single-brand showroom. The Florim large panels offered by the Group’s brands will be on show at the Flagship Store, with an installation that makes the most of their enormous visual impact.

Born from materials research and new technologies, CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia presents two new wall tile collections designed by Cristina Celestino and Federico Pepe.

Two stylistic interpretations inspired by different ideas which reinvent the ceramic material in a unique – and uniquely personal – way. Two creations which reflect two different creative philosophies, offering strongly decorative added value to CEDIT large panels.

Policroma Collection by Cristina Celestino

The Policroma ceramics collection offers an aesthetic formula that incorporates both the stylistic canons of classicism and those of a compositional and expressive code more in line with modern taste, skilfully combining them in a well-balanced mix.

The collection’s repertoire of large slabs features motifs inspired by two separate sources: on the one hand the exquisite, always surprising vein texture of some specific metamorphic rocks, and on the other the sophisticated colors of Marmorino plaster.

Araldica Collection by Federico Pepe

In the Araldica collection, multi-faceted creative spirit Federico Pepe expresses some of the themes fundamental to the character and quality of his work over time.

Conceived as the outcome of a process of artistic invention, the collection arises from a mélange of stimuli. On the vast scale of large ceramic wall covering slabs, Pepe’s visual textures acquire the hypnotic, fascinating configuration of a variegated mixture of colours, inspired by those of traditional marbled papers.

From April 8th CEDIT coverings will set the scene for the Elle Decor at work show at Palazzo Bovara [C.so Venezia 51] and from April 9th the Archiproducts The Design Experience space in Via Tortona 31.

Elle Decor at work

Elle Decor at Work. The Evolution of Workspace (April 8-18 – Palazzo Bovara) explores the topic of the rapid and multi-faceted evolution of work spaces with a project that seeks to represent the complexity and variety of the changes taking place in the office world and to propose new scenarios.

The guiding principle of the exhibit’s narrative, which leads visitors through the rooms and courtyard of the historic Palazzo Bovara, is design, not only in terms of décor, but also as a testament to how significant its role was in the past and continues to be in the present, thanks to illuminated and visionary designers. The exhibit is animated by the presence of digital features and interactive experiences, designed to convey new concepts and ways of experiencing the work environment, with a vision that focuses on the future.

Spazio Archiproducts

The Design Experience. Living Now Apartment offers a living experience with all the comforts intrinsic to the domotics of a smart home, in a sophisticated and progressive interior design project. The understated discretion of BTicino technology allows for the domotics system to be perceived through the Living Now devices. This smooth technology is capable of blending in and inserting itself seamlessly into the lifestyle dynamics of a domestic habitat.
The concept behind Living Now is interpreted through Marcante Testa’s design vision: two rooms that symbolize two distinct home environments in terms of language and color accents. The project features environments that are functionally connected and integrated through a basic need for serene and accessible living.
