The new Toddlers Bilingual Primary School is characterized by a strong dialogue between architecture and pedagogy and an eco-friendly building.
Located in a green area of 6,000 sq. m., the 70% of the school is completely permeable and the project uses a limited amount of concrete in line with a sustainable philosophy. The structure is made of a smart rainwater management system and photovoltaic panels which identifies the school as an “energy producer” reducing heating consumption. The isolation is extremely efficient also for reducing the thermal dispersion and increasing the interior comfort thanks to the high transpiration of the structure.
The building structure support an innovative teaching approach through Learning Environments also in primary school.
Florim contributed in the architectural project. The school has been designed with a high attention to aesthetic impact and the products used. The interior spaces have been completed with Planches de Rex, Neutra 6.0, Extra Light and “Materia” Project collections.
