The sports facility called “Le piscine dello Stadio” is near the town stadium of Terni, well connected by the road network of the city but surrounded by greenery at the same time.
The main structure is composed by a central building, developed on two floors, where the main activities happen and divided into three functional "blocks": the covered pools area; the central block where there are the hall, the reception, the cloak rooms, the gyms; and the service block where baby parking, beauty shop and restaurant can be found.
Outside, towards the park, an Olympic pool has been renewed to complete the project.
The two swimming pools, the Olympic and the interior ones, are visually correlated, separated by a window. The flooring, realised with technical Florim material designed for the pool area, functionally and visually connects the two laps. The color chosen, sand, enlightens the interior and exterior spaces and melts with the main colors of the complex. The sand covering has also been used for the bathroom fixture and the walls near the pools, while the pools have been covered with the classical blue and light blue colors.
Also the surface of the ceramic materials was chosen to guarantee the highest level of security for users: the grip and structured effect allow containing the slipperiness when feet or floor are wet.
