The Hotel Windsor in Milan has been recently renovated thanks to a requalification intervention which includes the installation of a ventilated facade.
The material chosen is the Styletech collection by Floor Gres, in two colours and 80x180 size: this product, used with the metal finish, allows the hotel to be fully integrated with the urban landscape surrounding the centre of Milan and makes it modern and elegant at the same time.
The facade has been installed using the V2 system, with visible hook glazed in the same colours as the ceramic slabs. Besides, to reduce the heating and cooling costs, a 12cm layer of mineral wool has been used in the space between the ceramic slabs and the building walls.
A careful building site organization, even for what concerns logistics and space management, allowed realising the intervention without stopping the daily hotel activities and without any interruption or obstacle.
