From September 19th to December 8th the “Storie” collection signed by designers Giorgia Zanellato and Daniele Bortotto (Studio Zanellato/Bortotto) for CEDIT is among the protagonists of the first edition of “Porto Design Biennale”, the exhibition dedicated to the evolution of design in the new millennium. The topic of this year is the “Italian territory”, with three different installations focusing on the Italian design.
The large slabs of “Storie” with the “Villa” and “Castello” surfaces will be laid as wall coverings inside the exhibition “Frontiers – Expressions of Contemporary Design”, at the Casa do Design in Matosinhos. It will show different expressions of the Italian contemporary and emerging design.
Zanellato/Bortotto perfectly represent this concept, two young designers which are already well-known in the design field. The “Storie” range, designed for our CEDIT brand in 2016, reinterprets in an innovative way the effects of wear and stratification left by time.
The slabs will be presented inside the installation by Maria Milano and Lucio Magri until December 8th. In addition to the exhibition “Frontiers” there will also be “Riccardo Dalisi – Perfect Imperfection“ and “Italian Dwelling – Iconic Italian Design”, together with a full program of events.
