Both protagonists of the CEDIT “New Collaborations” (Martino Gamper, Andrea Trimarchi & Simone Farresin, founding duo of the Formafantasma Firm) were reviewed by the Elle Decor magazine among the Best of Design 2016. In fact, the designers are counted among the six big names that signed the best of Italian and international production of the year.
This important news highlights the foresight of CEDIT, which has been collaborating with these authors for a year to create the brand’s next collections.
The designers boast a prestigious and promising international career in the design creativity sector. As highlighted in the September issue of Elle Decor which dedicated the cover specifically to Gamper, the notoriety of this artist is connected to the “A 100 Chairs in 100 days” project and the innovative design of the Prada Corners display windows concept, but it was further expanded on the occasion of Fuorisalone 2016 thanks to the collaboration with Nike, for which the artist interpreted the concept of the body in motion. The Formafantasma, who collaborate with prestigious companies such as Fendi and Max Mara and who boast the exhibit of five pieces of the Botanica collection in the MoMA of New York, stood out this year with their brand new display presented in Milan for Lexus.
For both, a past and present that does not go unnoticed and a future where they will be involved in CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia projects.
