An outstanding example of cutting-edge architecture in perfect harmony with the environment, the Y-40 pool (Y as the Y-axis of the Cartesian system, 40 as its maximum depth in meters) is now the most precious jewel of the Hotel Terme Millepini.
Born from an ambitious project involving both local companies and major international enterprises, Y-40 is a collective work. That is why it was named “The Deep Joy”.
4,300 cubic meters of water with a temperature ranging between 32 and 34 degrees, a water surface measuring 21 by 18 meters, various intermediate depths, four caves for technical diving activities, an underwater observation tunnel made of glass, and a purification system processing 720 cubic meters per hour.
“Unique in its kind, Y-40 offers new medium- and long-term work opportunities,” says Emanuele Boaretto with justified pride, “and aims to enhance the potential of a territory already devoted to excellence.”
