Florim is at the forefront of the installation by Dal Pozzo Group, official partner of Casa Lombardia 2026 during Milano-Cortina 2026
Within the installation, Florim created the ventilated façade and the technical flooring using surfaces from the Formatech collection and the expertise of the Florim Solutions service. For the cladding, the colors Cast_01 and Cast_03 were selected in a 9 mm thickness, combining aesthetic impact with high technical performance.
The flooring, on the other hand, was created using the Cast_03 variant in a 20 mm thickness, particularly suitable for high-traffic environments, and installed on supports by Eternoivica.
Ventilated façades
Ventilated façades are high-performance external cladding systems that enhance thermal insulation and water protection thanks to the air cavity between the wall and the surface. Florim porcelain stoneware slabs, available in large formats up to 160x320 cm, add further aesthetic and functional advantages. Within this context, Florim Solutions stands out as the division dedicated to the development of integrated design solutions, capable of combining design, technical expertise, and operational support for contemporary architecture.
Technical flooring
The GRF system by Eternoivica is designed for grid-based installation of technical flooring with porcelain stoneware slabs. The structure consists of adjustable pedestals, polypropylene grids, and finishing slabs. The pedestals are positioned and height-adjusted, while the grids are laid and connected to one another through dovetail joints, creating a continuous surface.
Florim slabs are installed with DLG spacers placed beneath the corners to ensure consistent joints and proper alignment. Vertical edging can be achieved using perimeter profiles or slab edges with fixing clips.
The Grid Plus version includes a layer of anti-slip TPE rubber molded directly onto the surface. This enhances slab grip, speeds up installation, and reduces movement over time. The system is compatible with pedestals from the Pedestal range, including the quick-lock version, and incorporates tolerances within the joints to absorb thermal expansion and prevent deformation.
