Tonalia reinterprets the ceramic strip as an architectural and decorative element. Inspired by the atmosphere of the 1970s, this porcelain stoneware collection revisits the tactile qualities of the era through a contemporary design language, creating surfaces that bring rhythm, depth and movement to spaces.
The distinctive surface texture recalls the characteristic “orange peel” effect, with a finely speckled finish and semi-gloss highlights reminiscent of the granular texture of sugar. The result is a visually soft surface with a sophisticated tactile quality, interacting with light through delicate reflections that enhance its depth of colour.
Available in a 7×28 cm format, Tonalia offers eight colours – Lino, Tufo, Senape, Cacao, Bronzo, Eucalipto, Terracotta and Ottanio – and two complementary geometries: Lineare, with its regular, precise profile, and Morbida, featuring rounded ends and a concave shape. Grout joints, whether tone-on-tone or contrasting, become an integral part of the design, expanding the creative possibilities for floors and walls in residential and contract spaces.
