Venice, its memory and its artisanal heritage become the starting point for a new design narrative.
Sensi Venezia is the result of the collaboration between Florim and Matteo Thun & Partners and represents a new chapter in the Sensi world. The collection extends the journey begun with Sensi, Sensi Terre, Sensi Colore and Sensi Etna, introducing a new interpretation inspired by the identity and atmosphere of the Venetian lagoon.
The project reinterprets the historical and artisanal heritage of Venice through a contemporary language. Its inspiration draws on the world of Venetian terrazzo and the compositional sensitivity of Carlo Scarpa, reinterpreted through Florim ceramic technology and the expressive power of large formats.
Through a careful selection of marbles and natural stone materials, twelve original graphics have been developed, each dedicated to an iconic place in Venice. Three different aggregate sizes – fine, medium and large – create different interpretations of terrazzo, from more compact designs to richer, more material and decorative compositions.
