“Stories of Matter”: When Materials Tell a Story

Introducing “Stories of Matter”, a series of workshops inviting participants to explore materials through images, textures, colors, and sensory impressions. This creative journey will bring together different Florim partners, creating opportunities for dialogue and experimentation around materials and design.

The first workshop took place on October 9 at the Florim Flagship Store in Rome, in collaboration with GRUPPO BEA. A creative experience where materials, surfaces, and colors came together to shape moodboards that tell stories, evoke atmospheres, and express identities.

At the heart of the workshop were the Sensi collections, an evolving project that interprets ceramic surfaces as tools for architectural expression and storytelling. Color became the common thread of harmonious, distinctive compositions, connecting the different collections through a careful balance of affinities and contrasts.

The result is a shared chromatic language that brings different material identities into dialogue, uniting them in a single design vision.
