Premio Lucchese - 37th Edition
May 18, 2024
On Saturday, May 18, the annual appointment with the Premio Lucchese was held at the Florim Gallery, an initiative promoted by the namesake Foundation and dedicated to the memory of Ing. Giovanni Lucchese, founder of Floor Gres and father of the current President of Florim, Claudio Lucchese.
In this 37th edition, there were 10 young graduates with top marks from the “Alessandro Volta” Higher Education Institute of Sassuolo who received scholarships.
The event was hosted, as usual, by journalist Leo Turrini, who urged the audience of young people to reflect on the many perspectives that allow us to interpret reality, hence the title: “The Beauty of Perspectives.”
The ceremony was also attended by students from the fourth-year classes of IIS A. Volta, who were invited to share their thoughts on the potential and threats of artificial intelligence, also observed from different perspectives and discussed across the five academic tracks: ceramic “Made in Italy,” maintenance and technical assistance, logistics, information & telecommunications, and electronics.
The Premio Lucchese – organized in collaboration with the Italian Ceramic Society – is part of the initiatives and events promoted by the Ing. Giovanni Lucchese Foundation, which focuses its efforts on supporting the local area.
The initiative was attended by Florim President Claudio Lucchese, along with Laura Venuti, a collaborator in school management at IIS A. Volta in Sassuolo, and Cristina Siligardi, President of the Italian Ceramic Society.
