Florim participates in the 'M'illumino di Meno' campaign

Today, on the occasion of the National Day for Energy Saving, Florim is joining the M’illumino di Meno campaign to raise awareness of energy saving and the use of resources.

All of our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art systems incorporating energy-efficiency solutions.

• Since 2011, we have invested in photovoltaic systems for electricity production. To date, the company has covered 127,000 square meters with panels for a total power of 12.3 MWp.

Photovoltaic and cogeneration systems contribute to the self-production of electricity for the Italian sites; when internal generation is not sufficient, Florim purchases electricity from certified renewable sources.

• About 80% of our plants are equipped with low-energy LED lights.
• We have internally produced and distributed a manual on this topic to spread best practices in both work environments and domestic settings.

We are ISO 50001 certified for energy management and committed to monitoring and reducing energy waste over time.

Aware of how crucial the energy transition is and the need to undertake it collectively, with this symbolic gesture, we aim to contribute to the awareness campaign, inviting our community to reflect on the need to reduce consumption and preserve resources.
