Fifteen years ago, Florim began investing in the self-generation of electricity from renewable sources with the installation of its first photovoltaic systems. This commitment has strengthened over time, accompanying the company’s technological and industrial development.
Today, this journey marks a significant milestone: approximately 175,000 m² of surfaces covered with photovoltaic panels, with a total installed capacity of 15.3 MWp.
Investment continued in 2026 with the commissioning of a new 5 MWh BESS energy storage system, which stores electricity generated but not immediately used, making it available at a later time.
