A package of responsibility

Sustainability is made of choices. Some big, others smaller, but all of them matter: at Florim we believe that details make the difference—even the ones that seem less obvious.

For this reason, we have rethought the packaging of our sample materials, eliminating plastic: no more bubble wrap, no polypropylene, no expanded polyurethane. Only recycled and recyclable materials, designed to protect both the product and the planet.

This way, every year we eliminate over 400 kg of bubble wrap and 1,200 kg of expanded polyurethane, preventing the emission of 5.2 tCO₂eq.

Every action counts and leaves a mark. Being sustainable is a choice—let’s make it together.

All other FLORIM packaging materials can be divided into “primary packaging”, when they contain the product and are in direct contact with it, and “shipping materials”, when they are functional to its transport.

The main form of “primary packaging” is cardboard: 100% recycled and recyclable, while shipping materials vary depending on the product format (pallets or wooden crates, A-frames, plastic hoods, etc.). All wooden packaging complies with the IPPC/FAO and FITOK markings.

Since 2022, we have introduced Digital Environmental Labelling, providing all information on disposal and recycling. Because making the right choice should be easy, for everyone.
