The Florim Magnum Oversize large slabs have received an Honourable Mention at the XXIV ADI Compasso d’Oro awards ceremony and officially become part of the ADI Compasso d’Oro Historic Collection, granted National Heritage status by the Italian Heritage Ministry “For its exceptional artistic and historic interest”.
The awards ceremony took place on Tuesday 14 June in Milan at Palazzo Isimbardi, which until 24 June will be hosting “I 10 giorni del Compasso d’Oro ADI” (“The 10 days of the ADI Compasso d’Oro”), the exhibition dedicated to the winners and participants in this year’s awards.
Creativity, originality, technique and harmony were the values sought after and rewarded by the Jury in this edition of the Compasso d’Oro, which assigned a total of 13 Awards and 56 Mentions, as well as the Career Awards, the International Awards and the Targa Giovani awards for young designers.
Just two years after hitting the market, Florim’s ceramic maxi slabs have once again confirmed their reputation as a highly successful global product. This oldest and most prestigious international design award joins the ADI Ceramics Design Award 2014 – won at Cersaie – and the listing in the ADI Design Index 2015, the annual publication that brings together the best Italian designs in production.
