The RILIEVI collection by CEDIT – Ceramiche d’Italia as been awarded in the “Finishes” category with the Archiproducts Design Awards 2018, the competition that celebrates the international design excellences.
A jury made up of some of the most influential designers, journalists, photographers, curators and architecture studios from all over the world has evaluated for this third edition over 600 products nominated by 400 brands with headquarters in 15 different countries and selected the products that truly stand out for their relation with production, full embracing the “Culture of Project”.
Presented during Fuorisalone 2018 at the Spazio CEDIT in Milan, the RILIEVI collection is designed by the designers Zaven(Enrica Cavarzan & Marco Zavagno) and reflects their research for the transformation of a two-dimensional sign into a volume.
The collection – of high aesthetic impact – overturns the traditional rules of ceramic tile creation: three-dimensional elements with different geometric forms and colours decorate the large slabs by CEDIT, transforming walls and spaces into imaginative scenarios that constitute real works of art.
