The most important investment for the future is to support the psychological well-being of the new generations.
The period we are living through, characterised by great uncertainty, including pandemics, war events and the economic crisis, is causing – especially among young people and adolescents – a sense of confusion and loss of confidence in the future, which often leads to conditions of psychological malaise. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for insight and international comparison on mental health policies implemented to support young people.
During the new Health Event on Friday 21st October, we will discuss the topic with: Fabrizio Starace, Director of DSMDP AUSL Modena and Mental Health Coordinator at the Ministry of Health; Giulio Santagata, NOMISNA Councillor, who will present a research on the social and economic cost of youth distress; Frank Bellivier, Ministerial Delegate for Mental Health and Psychiatry, who will illustrate the French experience of the “Maisons des Adolescents”; Rosalba Di Biase, Psychologist Director of the Adolescence Centre AUSL Modena, who will present the project “Figli in penombra” dedicated to the the children of the users of Modena’s Mental Health Centres and Marcella Camellini – Cardiologist, Sassuolo Hospital, TS Coordinator AHA and Scientific Director Florim Health&Training project.
The event is part of the rich calendar of MAT events – Mental Health Week – events promoted by the Department of Mental Health and Pathological Dependencies of the AUSL Modena.
