Martino Gamper, Italian designer, was born in Merano in 1971. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and after the graduation, started his brilliant design career. In 2015, he won the Brera Design District award for “Progetto Forma Identità”. Gamper was awarded in the eighth edition of the “British Art Show”, an exhibition that rewards the most brilliant talent of the visual culture of Great Britain, and for “Post Forma”, a project in collaboration with Yorkshire craftsmen which aims to revitalise broken and overlooked objects.
FRAMMENTI, steeped in the Designer’s expressive philosophy, transforms the act of breaking from one of destruction to one of creation, destructuring what already exists to construct something new by reconfiguring the original matter. The Florim Ceramiche Group’s innovative technologies have made the realisation of Gamper’s concept possible, providing the end user with a unique product with high aesthetic impact that can be reinterpreted again as it is installed in its specific context.
